About Oseyo Studio
Oseyo Studio is a Los Angeles based multi-disciplinary design studio founded by Nicole Hwang + Cayla Soncrant.
The building of Oseyo Studio began when a few co-workers decided to throw their own private supper clubs to build upon their friendship + collaborate on their dreams. These dinners were casual but integral to the building of friendship and trust that created this firm. With the combined foundation of community, love of design and the spirit of being hard workers, Oseyo Studio was born.
With over 20 years of combined experience in high-end residential, hospitality, multi-family and contract design, Oseyo Studio caters to each client’s individual needs. From concept to install, Oseyo Studio can oversee the entire design process while your space is transformed.
Meet the Team
-
Co-Founder & Lead Designer.
I am originally from Seattle, WA and have lived in the Los Angeles area since 2012. I attended a CIDA accredited Interior Design Program at the Art Institute of California. After completing college in 2014, I began my career at a high-end residential firm before making the transition to work with developers, Onni Group and then Irongate. I recently completed 8 spec homes branded by the Four Seasons and full furniture specifications for a condo/home mix branded by the Four Seasons. It’s my passion to make a space feel welcoming like a home. I believe one's space has a direct correlation to how one feels. In my free time, I like to spend time with my 3 kids, cook and work out!

Co-Founder & Lead Designer.
I grew up in Orange County and obtained an Art History degree from the University of California, Riverside. Right before graduation, I had an epiphany that my next path forward was to pursue Interior Design, so I applied to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and never looked back! I have worked on multi-family reinvestment projects for Greystar, retail design with The Irvine Company, and Four Seasons branded residences for a private real estate developer. My creative heart for design and enjoyment for problem solving has really made my 10 year+ career an enjoyable one. When I’m not ‘working’, I love traveling, cooking or walking the strand with my mini poodle and husband.
